Can you imagine the effort that goes into preparing for the Olympic races? A lifetime of discipline, practice, compromise, injuries, and failures lead up to the moment when an athlete finds themselves in line with the best competitors of the world ready to seize the coveted gold medal. In the 2016 Rio Olympics, two such athletes had set their sights on the 5000 m race gold. New Zealand runner Nikki Hamblin and US runner Abbey D’Agostino were four laps from the end when they collided. Hamblin, who stumbled amidst the crowd, fell face forwards. Her US competitor, who was running directly behind her, hit the track on her side as well. As Hamblin lay in a foetal position, possibly from pain, D’Agostino got up and pulled the New Zealander to her feet. The two started running again. Moments later, D’Agostino started faltering, her right leg clearly injured and face contorted with pain. Soon she was on the track on all fours. This time, Hamblin turned back to help her competitor without the slightest bother about winning the race. The two women finished last, but at no point was there a question of stopping. The photograph of the duo embracing each other at the end made it to all the headlines even as D’Agostino had to be wheeled away for emergency treatment. Such a show of sportsmanship and Olympic spirit was never seen before.
The Indian economy has had its fair share of ups and downs but the pandemic posed a threat that had economists shudder in fear. Many businesses took advantage of the pandemic and saw their stock-value skyrocket while others struggled to pay employees and keep their company afloat. Every single individual contributing or dependent on India’s economy has had some amount of fear or hopelessness in their heart during this time. In such an instance, it is natural to want to halt and take a breath. However, REPOS believes that it is not the time to stop. We have one mission and it is to help our countrymen in a bid to get India to the light at the end of the tunnel. We want to see India amongst the top economic powers of the world and we aim to help the country by teaching fellow men to help themselves.
One of the goals of any serious business is growth and success. That is what separates a legitimate business from a leisurely pursuit. For this growth to be visible and consistent, there are a host of internal and external factors that have to be correct and well-timed. One of the factors that determine success in any business is the availability and correct use of energy. The current system of energy distribution in India is not in the best state. Over 85% of the diesel consumed in India is by the commercial sector that includes industries, infrastructure, manufacturing, hospitality etc. There is no systematic method to distribute fuel to these sectors. Between 8-10% of the fuel consumed is wasted through spillage, pilferage, and dead mileage. The only solution to these problems is to fortify the fuel distribution system by redefining it.
There is a big opportunity in the oil and gas sector that needs to be filled by goal-driven countrymen who want to see India prosper. By availing the Repos business model of doorstep diesel delivery, fuel entrepreneurs have not only found success but have also contributed immensely to India’s growth by being viable startups.
Repos offers an end-to-end solution to potential entrepreneurs who do not like to go in hundreds of different directions to find success. As the world’s largest mobile petrol pump manufacturer, we offer everything from the best-in-class PESO-approved mobile petrol pumps to legal and professional aid that makes your business ready to operate, all under one roof.
Once a partner is on-boarded on the business model, we treat them as fellow helpers in our mission and vision to help India by redefining its energy distribution system. We leave no stones unturned when it comes to paving a path for the partner so that they can immediately get on with their doorstep diesel delivery business without wasting time.
At Repos, we value resilience and potential. We understand the feeling that fuels the hearts of millions of Indians and compels them to work towards making the country stronger. We do not want this spirit to come to a halt. We salute the grit, determination and strength of people who want to pave their paths forward even in these disheartening times. Tomorrow India is sure to shine bright at the pinnacle of success, but today, nothing is more important than making sure that we do what it takes to reach that position.
Repos is here to hold your hand and get you to the finish line.
